All The Latest Trends + All Things MAGIC

Last week, our owners spent the entire week searching for all of the latest trends + styles to bring to a Leela & Lavender near you. Lucky for you, they are letting us in on the latest trends that we will be seeing this Spring + Summer season so that we are all fully prepared to make our closets happy! 

Several Fall + Winter trends we are seeing live through the Spring + Summer seasons, just in updated silhouettes more appropriate for the time frame. Of course, there is LOTS of newness arriving on the fashion scene and we are jumping right on board, as always, to bring you the latest trends and styles. Ready for some SNEAK PEAKS into the trends you'll be seeing? Here we go!

We are continuing to see exaggerated and dramatic sleeve details. This trend has been around for several seasons, but it's so fun to see the ways that vendors update silhouettes and modify to create a new hype. Large, oversized, and dramatic - we are all here for it!

Crochet details are back! We've already started to see this trickle into our stores in small doses and it's SO perfect for the spring season! Fresh, flirty, and ultra feminine - crochet gives off just the right amount of bohemian, casual flair - perfect for everyday wear! 

I've said it before and I'll say it again - animal print isn't going ANYWHERE! At Leela & Lavender, we like to say it's the "new neutral" because it truly can be paired with anything and everything! Also on the list is mixing prints and this season was really where that took off! Mixing a stripe sweater with a leopard print heel or styling a plaid boyfriend blazer with a snake print bootie, mixing prints is also huge for the upcoming seasons!

Smocked details are also a key element you'll find. Whether it be smocked cuff sleeve details, an all over smocked peasant sleeve blouse, or a thick banded skirt with smocked detail at the waistline. Smocking is an ultra flattering and super feminine design detail that we can't wait to see!

Ladies, tie dye is back! Perfect to pair with all of our athleisure favorites, tie dye isn't just for the casual flair! You'll find it in dresses, sweaters, fleece, and accessories. We got a little taste of it last season, but it's out in FULL FORCE this season! 

We've started to see this trickle in during the winter timeframe as well, but gone are the days of neutral everything. Say HELLO to bright, bold and even neon color stories! Once again, you'll find them everywhere! Accessories, sweaters, and even footwear - it's a breeze to add a pop of color into your wardrobe with all of the choices you'll find!

It's all about the sneakers this season! Athletic inspired and functional, sneakers are a key MUST-HAVE for every wardrobe. Whether basic or statement, sneakers aren't for the gym anymore. Pair with sweaters, loungewear, and even dresses - a sneaker is the way to go for the summer season!

Just like in tops, animal print is here to stay! One of our favorite ways to showcase this trend is with our footwear! It's the PERFECT way to spice up any #OOTD! This season, we will even see some colored animal print for a fun and unique way to update this look!

Strappy sandals are making a comeback, but not in statement form like a few seasons ago. This time, it's super minimal and barely there for a sleek and chic vibe! These have already started rolling in and we are all about it!

Mules and loafers continue to be a huge part of the footwear scene this season. Don't expect these to go anywhere anytime soon! Comfy and chic, they just can't be beat!
